October Food Update

A Magical Combination of Ingredients Yankee Stadium – October 6, 2011
1 East 161st Street, Bronx, NY 10451-2100 (map)
By far, these is the best baseball food ever. Better than a hot dog decked out with chili, cheese, fries, onions, etc. Better than a baked potato filled with chili, cheese, fries, onions, etc. Better than popcorn (that’s saying a lot coming from me).

Just One Strip of Bacon Two T-Bone Steaks My Plate with the Fixin's Peter Luger – October 10, 2011
178 Broadway | Brooklyn, NY 11211 (map)
I can’t believe how many awards this place has. It’s a great steak, no doubt, but seriously an entire wall full right when I walk in? That’s a little annoying. They definitely have their steaks done properly. If you ask me what to get, I just need one word: bacon.

The Korzo Kitchen Korzo Haus – October 15, 2011
178 E 7th Street | New York, NY 10009 (map)
This is definitely a different kind of burger you HAVE to try. It’s the perfect intersection of an awesome burger and the art of deep frying foods. Be sure to get the Steven and don’t forget to add bacon.

Onsen Tamago Kamo Roast Buta Kakuni Black Sesame Cream Brulee Sakagura – October 23, 2011
211 43rd Street | New York, NY 10017 (map)
This is an interesting place. The squid in squid liver was REALLY flavorful – too flavorful in fact. I should have got a bowl of rice with this thing. Everything else we got was pretty good too. This place totally surprised me with their menu. If you want something different and explore your palette – this is your kind of place.
